 Dependable Cleaners by Annie Ranum is the
manager of our local dry cleaners, Dependable
Cleaners, in Bergen Park. She manages Dependable
Cleaners, which has been a family owned business
for over seventy years. She has worked at
Dependable Cleaners for just over six years and
absolutely loves working there. She believes the
location is perfect for the business and helps draw
in new customers. Mrs. Ranum loves to work with
people, and this occupation is ideal for that.
Dependable Cleaners has a welcoming environment and
is an efficient business, with a hard working
manager. Dependable Cleaners
has been a family owned and operated business since
the 1930s. It was founded by Esther and Jack
Bugdanowitz and passed down to their daughter and
son in law, Ruth and Warren Toltz. They then passed
it on to their son, Steven Toltz. Dependable
Cleaners is a state- wide company, stretching from
Boulder to Pueblo. Annie first discovered
Dependable Cleaners while riding her bicycle and
saw a "Help Wanted" sign in the window. She was
hired and started out as a customer service
representative. She worked her way up to assistant
manger, then manger. She has been enjoying her
occupation ever since. The dry cleaning
business is a walk- in business for anyone. The
customers drop off their clothing and are
guaranteed to have it back either the next day or
the same day. They offer many other services such
as alterations, by a professional seamstress,
leather cleaning, and the cleaning of household
items. Once the clothes are invoiced and tagged,
they are sent down to a plant in Denver where they
are professionally cleaned. They are then delivered
to the Bergen Park location where they are
assembled and bagged, for pick up. When Annie first
started working at this location, she walked around
and introduced herself to the other store owners in
the King Soopers Shopping Plaza, trying to develop
customers. Annie wants to make
sure that all her customers are fully satisfied
with the business she offers. To do this, she
trains her employees to be kind, knowledgeable,
courteous, and outgoing. She believes that you have
to get your name out there, but you have to back it
up with good customer service. She feels that "if a
customer's not happy in my store, then they are not
going to come back." Annie is very grateful to be
working with her current staff members and
customers. Her job has created new friendships and
has made her life more fulfilled. Dependable Cleaners
has been operating for over seventy years and is
still and efficient business. The customers are
always satisfied, and all the staff members are
knowledgeable and friendly. The location is ideal
for obtaining new customers and keeping existing
ones. Ms. Ranum had maintained the reliability and
quality and excellent service that Dependable
Cleaners is known for. This business has provided
an excellent service to the Evergreen community and
has also given many people rewarding
employment.
